This month we are sad to learn of the passing of one of our local Armed forces veterans, Tommy. He served in the SAS during World War 2 and saw action in Africa, Italy and other parts of Europe. He was a real character, whom we got to know from attending a VE day event in 2015. He then visited our monthly breakfast events. He will be missed by us all, a true hero.
