Thank you to Mike Kane MP for Sale East and Wythenshawe, who visited our allotment project in Sale Moor on the 8th July. He had this to say:
Projects like Trafford Veterans Community Allotment Grow, Cook and Eat Allotment Project run by veterans for veterans are really important.
The step change from being in service to returning to civilian life for many people can be incredibly challenging. Being able to spend time with people who share their experiences and feelings, so that they can talk freely can make a world of difference.
I commend Terry, Claire and all involved with the project for their excellent work and the difference they are making to the lives of former service people in my constituency.
