A huge THANK YOU to Ann and Sylvia who made some wonderful wool blankets for our world war 2 veterans this month. We gave these to Frank, Lewis and Albert who were all delighted!
Frank served in the RAF with 625 Squadron and was a bomb aimer.
Lewis was a dispatch rider in Royal Signal and landed on Gold Beach at Arromanches
Albert was in the Royal Army Medical Corps and was a prisoner of war with the Japanese.
What is really remarkable too is that their aged combined equal 300 years!
