Trafford Veterans provides a welcoming, informal space for veterans, serving personnel, reservists, emergency service personnel and their families.

The Hub is a place to connect with others, access support and advice, take part in activities, volunteer, or simply have a brew and a conversation with people who understand.

We work alongside local organisations and services so that when someone needs additional support, we can help them find the right place to go.

At the Hub you can:

• Meet other veterans and members of the community
• Access information, advice and signposting
• Take part in groups, activities and learning opportunities
• Find volunteering opportunities
• Attend meetings, appointments and outreach sessions
• Drop in for a brew, a chat and some company

You do not need to be in crisis to walk through the door. The Hub is here for connection, community and support.

WHO WE SUPPORT

Trafford has a strong Armed Forces community, including veterans, serving personnel, reservists and their families.

People leaving service can face very different circumstances. Some are looking for friendship and connection, some need practical advice, some want new opportunities, and others simply want somewhere they feel comfortable walking through the door.

Trafford Veterans brings people together locally and works with organisations across the community so that support does not have to happen in isolation.

Our aim is simple: to make it easier for people to connect, find the right support when they need it, and remain part of a community beyond their service.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE HUB

The Hub is about more than accessing support. It is about connection, belonging and having somewhere to go.

For some people that might mean getting advice or being introduced to another service. For others it might mean volunteering, learning something new, meeting people or simply getting out of the house.

By bringing people together, we can help reduce isolation, build confidence and create opportunities for people to remain connected to their local community.

We also work with other organisations rather than trying to do everything ourselves, helping people reach the right support when specialist help is needed.

WORKING WITH OUR COMMUNITY

Trafford Veterans works alongside local organisations, community groups and services to make support easier to access.

We believe collaboration is stronger than duplication. Where another organisation has the right expertise, we can connect people to that support while continuing to provide the community and peer connection that sits at the heart of Trafford Veterans.

We welcome opportunities to work with local services, businesses, charities and organisations that share our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces and wider service community.

Partnerships help us create more opportunities, reach more people and strengthen the support available across Trafford.
