We were saddened to learn of the loss of one of our friends and much loved World War 2 veterans Lewis Banham on 7th December 2022. He had just celebrated his 100th birthday with 3 parties, what a great few weeks he had!
On the 4th January we all pulled together to give him the best send off we could. Thank you to his family for asking us to be there, to the veterans who formed the guard of honour, the standard bearers, bukes, bugler, piper and to Bill for ensuring it all ran smoothly with his RSM presence.
Rest in peace Soldier, your duty done, you will be missed greatly by us all.
