A chance meeting with a veteran at a stall one Saturday made us aware of another local hero from World War 2 that we had not met. We invited him to come along to our model making and craft group in Stretford and we were all delighted to meet him!
Jack served with the Spitfires during World War 2. We got him some specially made RAF cup cakes from Cakes by P and an RAF walking stick made by veteran Paul Bowers.
Delighted all round, what a gentleman he is!
